  • Berala - Sydney
Our Berala accommodation centre is a spacious, airy and modern complex. It provides comfortable accommodation for people who are medically stable and wish to improve their independent living skills.

Simply called "Berala", the complex offers important specialised transitional accommodation for people with a spinal cord injury and their families and carers.

It's a place where people with a spinal cord injury and their families can begin to make the difficult social and emotional adjustments to life in a wheelchair.

Berala consists of specially designed five independent living studios and five houses. It is conveniently situated between Sydney and Parramatta, close to shops and hospitals.

People eligible for accommodation are primarily those with spinal cord damage. Preference is always given to those in most need.

For more information about Berala, please phone 02 9749 1255.

People eligible for accommodation are primarily those with spinal cord damage, regardless of whether their condition was caused through injury, disease or a congenital factor. Preference is always given to those in most need.
