Senior executives from the healthcare, financial services, information technology, logistics, construction and legal industries where in attendance to listen to Mr. O’Farrell’s vision for NSW, whilst also supporting the community services of ParaQuad.
Mr. O’Farrell spoke about the need for strong economic management in NSW, through which the State can experience positive growth, resulting in investment in much needed infrastructure.
Mr. O’Farrell also spoke about the need to better service the disability community by creating a model with more flexibility aimed at fitting the requirements of people with a disability, as opposed to asking them to fit the model.
ParaQuad NSW CEO, Max Bosotti, said that “we are delighted to have had Barry O’Farrell donate his time by speaking at our function. It is important that organisations such as
ParaQuad keep an open dialogue with both the political and corporate communities. Today’s event has gone a long way to putting the needs of people with a spinal cord injury on the wider agenda.”
Funds raised from the lunch will go toward supporting ParaQuad’s community services including the Primary Health Care Team and ParaQuad’s accommodation facilities.
