Carers' Training Resource Kit

Q. Who is the resource kit for?

A. Any person or organisation wanting to train personal carers of clients with a spinal cord injury.

Q. How can I use it?

A. The kit consists of a number of different documents. Each of these documents is quite large, and there may only be a part of the document you need. The kit is suited to a 'mix and match' approach, so that you can build a tailored solution to meet identified training and staff development needs.

Q. How will this kit benefit me?

A. Recent pressures in the attendant care industry increase the need for competent personal carers. These workers reflect the professionalism of your organisation. This kit will assist you, for example, to:

  • Help personal carers cope with the changing workplace
  • Align training with a Certificate 111 in Disability Work
