Personal Care For Clients with Spinal Cord Injury
Who would benefit from this course?
Personal carers both from public and private sector agencies, who care for clients with spinal cord injury living in the community. Participants are usually personal carers, service coordinators, community support staff, family members or anyone involved in supporting a person with spinal cord injury.
How does the training help?
The workshop provides an overview of the causes and effects of spinal cord injury and the specific personal care tasks that participants deliver. It explores the underlying reasons why these procedures are so important to the client’s health.
What is the workshop format?
The workshop is run with trainer presentations, small group sessions and practical demonstrations.
